The National Law University Delhi issued a Notification for 2022-23 admission to the various programs on 13th November 2021. The programs advertised are B.A.LL.B (Hons.) (5 years), LL.M, and Ph.D. Candidates need to apply online. No other mode for applying is available. The online application form filling began on 17 January 2022. The last date for application form submission is 25 May 2022. AILET will be conducted offline, and the tentative date for the same is 26 June 2022. It will be a 90 minutes test. AILET Cutoffs
The AILET cutoff is the minimum mark/ percentage that an aspirant has to obtain in the test to be considered as having qualified for the next stage in the process of admission. It is essential to understand that the passing mark and the cutoff mark are not the same things. Passing marks are lower than cutoff marks and do not guarantee admission.
Candidates need to score a minimum of 60 marks or 40% of the total marks of the Test to be eligible for admission. This percentage is 45 marks or 30% in the case of Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates. It is the University's prerogative to keep vacant seats in case no candidate achieves the minimum cutoff.
In case several candidates score an identical percentage in the Test, the following process will be used to determine their merit.
- Based on the marks (percentage) in the system of 10 2 in the Senior Secondary School Examination / Higher Secondary School or its equivalent recognized by the University.
- Based on the percentage of marks in the 10th-grade examination
- Preference will be given to the candidate older in age
- The draw of Lots.
